In the heart of the thumb enjoy family fun during Sandusky's annual Thumb Festival. This year's dates are June 28, 29 and 30th, 2013. We have something for everyone during the festival.

Country Christmas
In December of 2013, Michigan's original Country Christmas Lighted Implement Parade is going to be 20 years old and growing strong. Come to Sandusky to view the lighted floats under the crisp winter sky. Activities include sing-a-longs, a live nativity scene, craft show, fruitcake toss and more. You won't want to miss a single event!

Miss Outstanding Teen
Ladies Night Out
Miss Sanilac County Scholarship Pageant is proud to sponsor the contestants to ensure the young ladies in our community continue to grow through educational and community service opportunties.
Sanilac County is proud to sponsor the Miss Sanilac County Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant. In our 3rd year, we are offering the opportunity for young ladies aged 13 to 17 the opportunity to compete in the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant each year in June.
A ladies only private shopping party that will excite you as you travel through several stores on your pirate map. With all of the deals and specials, it will be a great time to start your Christmas shopping and learn what Sandusky has to offer you for your shopping needs. Come dressed as a pirate to see if you can win the "Best Dressed Pirate" contest. Maybe you will win a door prize or one of the top three shopper awards. This year's event takes places on Friday October 04, 2013. Watch for the details.
